Portraits Teams support
Portraits currently offers an invitation-only Teams pilot. Installing the app does not create an account or give access to an assessment. Your organisation needs an existing Portraits programme and an approved Microsoft tenant connection.
Connect your existing task
- Contact People Work Life at rob@peopleworklife.com to arrange setup with your nominated Microsoft IT administrator. People Work Life performs the restricted Portraits-side setup; your nominated Microsoft administrator completes verification and may need to allow the app.
- Use the Teams connection page provided with your existing Portraits portal. Keep the portal link private.
- Send the verification command from your own browser to the Portraits personal chat, then return to that browser to approve the connection. Never verify a code sent by someone else.
Commands in your personal chat
- help — explain setup and available commands.
- tasks — refresh the secure link for your latest available delivered task. Open it within ten minutes.
- pause — stop Teams notices; future notices use email where available.
- resume — enable Teams notices for your existing linked participants.
- disconnect — revoke your Teams link and pending task links. Existing email portals and chat history remain.
Answers, assessments and reports open in Portraits’s secure web service. They are not completed inside Teams. Group and channel use is not supported.
If something does not work
For an expired task link, send tasks for a fresh link. If no task is available, check your original Portraits invitation or contact your programme coordinator. A disconnected account needs to complete linking again; resume cannot restore a revoked link.
For setup, access, delivery problems or privacy requests, email rob@peopleworklife.com. Include the time, command and visible error. Do not send passwords, verification codes, portal links, answers or report content. This service is not for urgent or safety-critical alerts.
